[00:00:36] Speaker A: Another day, man.
[00:00:38] Speaker B: Yeah.
Yeah.
[00:00:40] Speaker A: How was your week?
[00:00:42] Speaker B: You know, rinse and repeat, man.
[00:00:45] Speaker A: Rinse, repeat, rinse and repeat. Yeah, same here, boss.
We did get a little kickoff to the NFL preseason season.
[00:00:55] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, we back now.
[00:00:56] Speaker A: It's bad.
[00:00:57] Speaker B: The football season now.
[00:00:58] Speaker A: Yeah, the grass. Smell the grass in the air.
[00:01:00] Speaker B: Yeah. You know, cleats. Cleats in there. Cleats in the grass, bro. Like. Yeah, man, we back now. Handed the day last Sunday.
[00:01:08] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:01:09] Speaker B: Yeah, man, the last weekend went out football.
[00:01:13] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
[00:01:15] Speaker B: So can't wait.
[00:01:17] Speaker A: Yeah, I got good, positive vibes about the season. How about you? How your vibes feeling?
[00:01:24] Speaker B: But ain't nothing new for the Niners.
Injuries are part of the game, but ain't nothing new for the Niners. Man, I'm not. I'm not freaking out. I know the.
The pun is on tv. Talking panic mode already, but I ain't panic.
[00:01:38] Speaker A: Yeah. I mean, they hit the panic button on y'.
[00:01:41] Speaker B: All. I mean, they can. I mean, what else they gonna do? What else they gonna do?
[00:01:44] Speaker A: Yeah.
Yeah.
[00:01:47] Speaker B: Squeeze 12 wins out of Panic bowl, yo, last year.
Kiss my ass.
[00:01:52] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:01:53] Speaker B: Let the season play out, man.
[00:01:54] Speaker A: There you go.
See how it go from there, man.
[00:01:57] Speaker B: Yeah. Everybody's, you know, talking points. They gotta have something to talk about bring, you know, stay in the news. News cycle, man. But I ain't worrying about it.
Yeah, we don't play the next month game. Don't get a fist till next month.
[00:02:13] Speaker A: Yeah, there you go. Yeah, y' all have been taking a little bit of.
Took a little bit injuries and. But y' all been trying to add some pieces in place. Trying to. Trying to damn.
Prepare for the injuries.
[00:02:27] Speaker B: The injuries all across the league right now.
[00:02:31] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:02:32] Speaker B: I had to readjust my. Damn.
My draft board finished.
[00:02:37] Speaker A: Football. Draft board.
[00:02:38] Speaker B: Oh, yeah.
[00:02:39] Speaker A: About a month out for the. For the.
[00:02:41] Speaker B: Locked in now, baby.
[00:02:42] Speaker A: For the fantasy football.
For the fantasy football scumbag Fantasy Football league draft.
[00:02:49] Speaker B: Hope y' all losers ready.
[00:02:51] Speaker A: Yeah, for sure.
But yeah, man, pretty much. This week been the same.
Like you said, rinse, repeat.
Kane and Kane. Kane and show came to a tragic end.
[00:03:06] Speaker B: Came to an end, man. You know, a lot of.
Few of the loops been closed on the cane story, You know, did see. Didn't see the ending.
[00:03:26] Speaker C: Yeah.
I got a question as a power fan, because how do you feel about the story not lining up with the flagship show?
[00:03:38] Speaker B: I don't care.
Okay.
[00:03:41] Speaker C: You just saw it as a.
I could. I just. I don't know. I just couldn't. I couldn't get into the mode of it being its own show that would not align with.
[00:03:52] Speaker B: Only thing was off was what the mom situation.
I'm going to visit my mom.
[00:03:57] Speaker C: Basically one of the uncles. Cause we don't know if it was Lou or Marvin.
[00:04:01] Speaker B: Well, they all together.
[00:04:03] Speaker C: Well, they all together now. I'm just saying the fact that one of them was supposed to be doing life in jail and the mom was supposed to still be alive.
[00:04:09] Speaker B: Who said that?
[00:04:11] Speaker C: When Kanan got out of jail in the flagship and actually got caught, I think the first time. I believe it's the first time him and Ghost seen each other or whatever.
And he was like. He said, yo, did you get a chance to see your mom? Or something like that? And it was like, yo, his mom. And I'm gonna post a clip.
[00:04:28] Speaker A: But it's.
[00:04:29] Speaker C: His mom was in. He went and saw his mom and his uncle doing life.
But like I said, I'm a person who really like. And a lot of as we all did. But I mean, I think, like, I was just looking for it to line up. So as I was watching it, I was looking to see, okay, well, how does Marvin get locked up? Cause once Lou died, I was like, well, Marvin is the uncle that does life. So at that point, I was like, all right, well, how does he get caught? And then I was like, okay, they blew that. Well, at least they could stick to the fact that his mom's still alive. And then when they gave her the out, I just figured that.
That yo, she was gonna just leave town and be out and then come back after Stephano, you know, and the boy put. The hit was off.
[00:05:13] Speaker A: Right.
[00:05:14] Speaker C: You know what I'm saying? Especially after Bree, especially after Breeze, so called, died.
[00:05:18] Speaker A: Right.
[00:05:18] Speaker C: You know, so it was just kind of those things. I was looking for them to. I guess I was looking too much into it. Rather than watching it for entertainment, I was watching the entertainment value. But still, like the breeze.
[00:05:28] Speaker A: Did we see Breeze die?
[00:05:30] Speaker C: No, Breeze don't die.
[00:05:31] Speaker B: He don't die on this.
[00:05:33] Speaker C: He's gonna die probably in Power Origins.
[00:05:35] Speaker B: So I think they gonna tie it in with, you know, a surrogate mama, like somebody who just like, who stepped in and helped. Stepped in while he was. Cause he still was young.
Like, so many words. I mean, he was what, 15, 16, give or take. He was what he had.
[00:05:50] Speaker C: He was about to graduate high school.
[00:05:51] Speaker A: Yeah, he was like 18 or some shit.
[00:05:53] Speaker B: Was he that old?
[00:05:54] Speaker C: Yeah, cuz remember he was about to graduate high school. Remember the teacher was trying to help him graduate?
[00:06:00] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:06:00] Speaker C: All right. Well, in season one, the teacher's trying to help him graduate.
[00:06:04] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:06:05] Speaker B: I ain't tripping. No, I'm, I, I, I ain't tripping.
[00:06:11] Speaker A: I gotta see y'. All. I kind of. See you said appointment. You gotta stay on script right now.
[00:06:16] Speaker C: But, you know, I also feel like they couldn't because Courtney Kemp left.
[00:06:19] Speaker B: So you got one and then you got the. You got one and then you got the other. Right. So Rock couldn't have made it out.
Like, Like Juke. Juke. I mean, I thought it was.
[00:06:32] Speaker C: I didn't see that coming, so. I like that part.
[00:06:35] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:06:36] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:06:36] Speaker B: I mean, I like the.
[00:06:37] Speaker C: Because when I saw Juke watching them at the Coliseum.
When Juke was watching them at the Coliseum.
[00:06:43] Speaker B: Yeah. She would never get that again from her dad, so. She was.
[00:06:46] Speaker C: Yes. I didn't see that in the time that I was watching it. I didn't see that. That being her. Her process.
I just thought that she was like, damn, this about to reconnect with my. I didn't see, like, okay, you know, reconnected with your mom. Now I'm gonna take her from you. Like, I didn't, I didn't see that, man.
[00:07:04] Speaker B: That was a cold. That was cold blooded, though, but cold.
[00:07:07] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:07:07] Speaker B: But it was just too. It was just too easy for a break for Rock to get out with money and her life and everything. Like, it was just too. She wasn't gonna make it, man.
[00:07:15] Speaker A: But was it. But was it a break or was
[00:07:17] Speaker C: it, like, because she lost. She'd lost almost everything.
[00:07:20] Speaker B: Yeah. But she still had a life and her son.
[00:07:22] Speaker C: She lost her business.
[00:07:23] Speaker A: She got a son, lost her brothers. Yeah.
[00:07:26] Speaker C: You know what I'm saying? Like, she had nothing except. And. And what type. She had rebuilt the relationship with her son. But was it really a full on.
[00:07:34] Speaker B: He got out of there.
[00:07:35] Speaker C: No. He was like, yo, you do this and you got a dip. He said, I still love you, whatever. But, you know, we can't unring. Basically. He was like, we can't unring the bell, like, we can't go back and do nothing, and you need to do this and get out of town. So what kind of relationship was they gonna.
[00:07:47] Speaker B: But he also put. He also put the word in for her, too, for dude to back off. Because he could have just said nothing.
[00:07:52] Speaker C: Well, no, he could have, but.
But he still wanted her gone.
[00:07:56] Speaker B: Yeah, she had to go to stay alive.
[00:07:58] Speaker A: He wanted her to.
[00:07:59] Speaker B: He want her to die at the end of the day. At the end of the day, he didn't want her to die.
Right after all that. I hate you and all that, he didn't want to die. So they would go.
[00:08:08] Speaker C: Now, I thought a corny line was like, remember when I used to put you to sleep with warm milk? I was like, yeah, yeah,
[00:08:18] Speaker B: she's still. At the end of the day. She's still a mama, though, man.
[00:08:20] Speaker A: But I'll probably supposed to remember that.
[00:08:23] Speaker B: And you would say he wasn't.
That's why he went back. You watched it to the end.
[00:08:28] Speaker C: Yeah, I did. I did. With the hospital when he was born.
[00:08:32] Speaker B: And yeah, it went all the way. It went all the way back to that.
[00:08:34] Speaker A: So, I mean, it was the point of you that. That scene.
[00:08:37] Speaker C: I didn't even see the point.
[00:08:38] Speaker B: I will say y' all didn't see the point of that.
[00:08:39] Speaker A: No, I would have rather they gave
[00:08:41] Speaker C: us a good glimpse into power origins rather than like they did at the end of. At the end of Power.
[00:08:45] Speaker B: Well, they gave you a little tip.
Ghost of Town was too young, get off the Happy Meals and then come back.
[00:08:52] Speaker C: Yeah, I thought that was a little stretch, though, to try to connect the two at that moment. I thought that was a little stretch.
[00:08:58] Speaker B: I think it was a good. Good floor to show it.
[00:09:00] Speaker A: Just meaning I thought they should have ended the clip. If they're gonna show a clip, drop an Easter egg or whatever. They should have did the Easter egg showing with Kane. Had came back up to Tommy.
[00:09:13] Speaker C: Tommy came back up and gave it.
[00:09:15] Speaker A: Gave them a. A little bit of work.
[00:09:17] Speaker C: Especially since the show. Especially since the show been greenlit. The show was coming out. I thought they could have actually got the actors or whatever.
[00:09:24] Speaker B: Yeah, but you gotta think about it, though. What they did was they gave. They gave you a little piece, but when they come back, they ain't. They ain't 12 and 11 like they was.
[00:09:32] Speaker C: No, I get it.
[00:09:33] Speaker B: So. So when they come back, it's years later. So just to jump a bunch of years.
[00:09:38] Speaker A: No, nobody jump a bunch of years. I was just saying it could have came back showing them okay. They got Canaan. Brought them back into the.
[00:09:48] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:09:48] Speaker A: To the fold. Because right now. Okay. Kind of like Cana. Damn. Like, nah, I ain't with y'. All.
[00:09:53] Speaker B: Right.
[00:09:54] Speaker A: Happy Meals.
[00:09:54] Speaker B: I think the story is gonna go with Tom and Ghost.
[00:09:57] Speaker C: I think it's gonna.
[00:09:58] Speaker B: Just putting in, working in. Can't see him.
[00:10:00] Speaker C: Yeah. I think that's what's gonna end up happening.
[00:10:02] Speaker B: Yeah. So he don't necessarily come back to him. He go get them.
[00:10:05] Speaker C: I think when they do it. I think when they do it, they're going to go from the Ghost that people leave Jamie. The Jamie story.
[00:10:11] Speaker B: Jamie and Tommy.
[00:10:13] Speaker C: And Jamie moving in with Tommy and.
[00:10:15] Speaker B: Yeah. And all that. All that beating them up and all that.
[00:10:19] Speaker C: Kate raising them. All that stuff.
[00:10:21] Speaker A: Well, that would have. Should have ended off with that. That. That little drop. Little nugget at the end.
[00:10:28] Speaker C: Kind of see the purpose at that point of that.
[00:10:32] Speaker A: Okay. Everybody did but Cana.
[00:10:35] Speaker B: I mean.
[00:10:38] Speaker A: I mean, I'm talking about in that scene. Oh, yeah, yeah. She was in a little stroller. Yeah, that's right.
That's right.
[00:10:47] Speaker C: Do you think. Do you think that the actor who played Marvin could get another part?
[00:10:53] Speaker B: He should get a war for that part. Oh, that whole Ross.
Juke and Marvin should get recognized for sure. Off the top.
Off the top. Should get recognized for their work.
[00:11:07] Speaker C: Juke. You said Juke, Marv. And.
Yeah, I do.
[00:11:12] Speaker A: Or you did it could even damn sure. A little scene where juking down Canaan was able to down.
[00:11:18] Speaker C: No, I don't think. I don't, bro.
[00:11:20] Speaker A: Because they came back to work together.
[00:11:22] Speaker C: I would love the fact if. I would love the fact that.
[00:11:25] Speaker B: That I need him to stay hating each other.
[00:11:26] Speaker C: I would love the fact to see.
Like I would love him to stay apart until Kanan needed her.
[00:11:32] Speaker A: Right?
[00:11:32] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. He. He needed. He needed. He had nowhere else to go.
[00:11:35] Speaker C: Nowhere to go. And he had no family. So I could see a scenario of that being the last time they spoke. And then him burnt up. Whatever. Getting away and had to go. Had to call. Had to call her. Like, yo, I know we done. We'd have had our differences, but yo, I'm in a bind and I got a way that we can. And I hate this Ghost and Da D D Da.
[00:11:55] Speaker B: This will bring that who whole Dinos scene to me is when he showed compassion for his mom, right? Because he. And then he was sitting across from Juke, and Juke told him, I'll take everything from you and all that. And he showed compassion one more time. And that was the Tyreek and he killed Juke behind. He didn't kill. He didn't get a chance to kill him the first time.
[00:12:18] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:12:18] Speaker B: He got her the second time.
[00:12:20] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:12:21] Speaker B: And killed in there and the same. And you got to think about, you know, who house they was in.
[00:12:25] Speaker C: They was in Rock.
[00:12:26] Speaker B: Rock. Old house.
So when she killed Rocket, where she died at, where Lou died at. So all that just came on back around. Yeah.
[00:12:35] Speaker C: And I don't think. But I don't think he wanted to kill Juke.
[00:12:37] Speaker B: He did.
[00:12:38] Speaker C: No, I don't think he wanted to kill you.
I think he connected with Tariq so
[00:12:42] Speaker B: much, it was so easy because he wasn't gonna take. She wasn't. Cause Juke was on Juke on some. Juke was on Juke on some straight, you know, no feelings, no nothing. So he felt two times. He felt when he had to tell. She made him tell him who he was.
[00:12:58] Speaker A: Who he was.
[00:12:59] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:13:00] Speaker B: And that bought the softness out of him.
[00:13:02] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:13:02] Speaker C: Because Tariq was him in his eyes.
Well, in his eyes, Tariq was him.
[00:13:09] Speaker B: He got attached.
[00:13:10] Speaker C: His parents lied to him.
[00:13:12] Speaker B: He got attached.
[00:13:13] Speaker C: No, I mean. Cause remember, if you parallel the two lines between Tariq and. Although Tariq was a lot more well off. Well, he was well off too. But they both dealt with the same core issue. Your parents lying to you about.
About life and what you do and this, that, and the third. Because remember, Rock lied to Kanan about who his daddy was the entire time. That was the first thing. And then she tried to get him to kill his biological father.
You know what I'm saying? Like, she was always manipulating him the way Tariq felt Ghost was manipulating him.
[00:13:50] Speaker B: I gotta disagree a little bit.
Joe try to keep Terry got their life.
[00:13:56] Speaker C: And so did Rock. Rock tried to keep tanning up life.
Look at season one. Well, look at season one.
[00:14:01] Speaker B: Okay?
[00:14:01] Speaker C: See? Okay, look at season one.
[00:14:04] Speaker A: She tried to keep him going to school.
[00:14:06] Speaker B: Season one. I granted season one. Season one. Yeah. But this little decided to, you know, start doing his own thing and start carrying the on. So.
[00:14:16] Speaker C: Yeah. And that's when she was like, well,
[00:14:18] Speaker A: I can't keep you out of it, so I might as well go ahead and show you the ropes, cuz she
[00:14:22] Speaker B: never really gave him. Really gave him the damn dope. He went and just did his own way and he start with Marv. So m. Like, if you gonna do this this way, I can keep an eye on you.
You with me? I'll keep an eye on you.
[00:14:35] Speaker A: Kar was trying to send him down to where she was sending him to
[00:14:40] Speaker C: she was trying to send them down. Down south.
[00:14:42] Speaker B: Right, Right.
[00:14:44] Speaker A: So she was trying to. But Canaan. Canaan, teach me the game.
[00:14:49] Speaker B: Teach me the game. Teach me the game. Teach me the game. Then Marvin, like, look, you gonna be out here little.
Yeah, get on this. Get right here. Stay in this little gas station. The little gas station hook up. Yeah. So I keep an eye on you and keep you safe out here. Cause you ain't gonna stop till you get out here. So. So keep your ass. Keep your little ass safe.
[00:15:11] Speaker C: There was a part like Stephano, when Stephano.
When Lump told him that was my man. Last part, too, he said, I know what you told. He said, I'm the only person I had that knows the kind of animal you actually are.
He said, you ain't gonna live forever. And Stephano was like, I ain't trying to live forever.
[00:15:31] Speaker B: Trying to be last.
[00:15:32] Speaker C: I was trying to die last.
[00:15:33] Speaker B: I was trying to die last.
[00:15:35] Speaker C: I said, all right. Stepping over ruthless. Hell, boy.
[00:15:39] Speaker A: Yeah. So we did also learn, though. Damn. Kane got a baby on the way.
[00:15:45] Speaker B: Sean. Yeah, Sean, the other white. The other. The other somebody else he killed.
[00:15:50] Speaker A: Who? Oh, yeah, he kills. He did kill us.
[00:15:52] Speaker B: He kills. Yeah, he killed Sean. So it's just, bro. Just.
It's a lot. A lot of death going on. Right, right. But they should get their flowers, man, for that show.
The acting in that show was good.
You know, Rock did an amazing job. Petrina Miller. Shout out. Petrina Miller.
I can't think of a man, first name, last name. London. The one that played Marvin.
I can't think his first name.
[00:16:22] Speaker A: I'm sorry.
[00:16:23] Speaker C: I thought his first name was London.
[00:16:25] Speaker B: London Brown. That's London Brown. Yes, London Brown. And you know, Haley, what's his name?
Gil something. Damn.
Who played Juke? They should get there. She definitely get some type of recognition for before they. They work in that show, man.
The Duke played a cold. A cold character.
[00:16:46] Speaker C: You really switch cold character, bro.
Cause she was loving at first. Loving at first. Loving at first. And then you just saw once Marv died that. That switch just.
[00:16:55] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, that's.
[00:16:56] Speaker C: Cause she even had. She still had compassion for Kane even though he killed Louis. Like, she was like, you ain't you. You. You dropped.
[00:17:03] Speaker B: Pounce and snaps like nothing.
[00:17:06] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:17:06] Speaker C: And then. And then that's when I knew that she was gone. That she was through with Canaan.
[00:17:11] Speaker B: Go back.
[00:17:12] Speaker C: I knew she was throwing it through with Canaan.
[00:17:13] Speaker B: Go back even further. When she popped the. That was. That was. That was on top of Marvin at the time. Yeah, she killed that dude. So it's him. It's not all of them.
[00:17:24] Speaker C: And she is. Marvin's.
So probably the most ruthless dude on the show.
[00:17:32] Speaker B: I thought Lou was. I thought Louis Lou was sneaky.
[00:17:35] Speaker C: I think Lou was more calculated.
What was it? Marv is the hammer.
[00:17:42] Speaker A: Rob tell mama constantly. I don't know how many times throughout this whole series, but that he always. He don't never think wild out.
[00:17:51] Speaker B: He just go guns ablaze, and he don't ask no question.
[00:17:54] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:17:55] Speaker C: Flossy hit rock with a line, too now. Flossy hit rock.
[00:17:57] Speaker B: She was like, floss ain't no damn chump now.
[00:17:59] Speaker C: No, Flossy. What she. When she approached, he said, yeah, all the white girls be messing with Marvin because they think he a joke. And I'll be here to tell him I, you know, I ain't no joke. So I'm the one that had that. She was like, you are a joke.
[00:18:12] Speaker B: You'd be dead already. I want you. You only living because of Marvin. Yeah, you better be thinking Marvin. Yeah, you better be thinking Marvin. Yeah, Marvin. The only reason why you still kicking.
[00:18:23] Speaker C: Really good show.
[00:18:24] Speaker A: Really, really good show.
[00:18:25] Speaker C: It's a really good show.
[00:18:26] Speaker A: But deep down, though, Marvin did. Was the one that actually kept the. Kept the business together. Relationships anyway.
[00:18:33] Speaker C: Oh, the business relationships.
[00:18:34] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:18:34] Speaker C: Because even with Stefano, he was the one that kind of. He had put in that job for Stefano.
[00:18:39] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:18:39] Speaker C: With Flossy.
[00:18:40] Speaker B: I'm putting in work, bro.
I'm putting in work. Need to take care of the little white girl. He would take care of Uncle Marvin.
[00:18:46] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:18:46] Speaker B: But she told on him.
[00:18:47] Speaker C: She ended up. But I. I think they just put her in a spot where she couldn't.
[00:18:51] Speaker B: I mean.
[00:18:52] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:18:53] Speaker B: I mean, that's when you thought mom was gonna go to jail, right? That's what everybody thought. Marvin gonna go to jail. Like, that was when he be doing life.
[00:19:00] Speaker C: Yeah, that's what I.
[00:19:01] Speaker B: And it just. And it just spun off. But I guess you could. You had to, like, kill them characters off to go forward to, like, end it.
[00:19:07] Speaker C: Like, just to end the show.
[00:19:09] Speaker B: To end it. You had to kill them off?
[00:19:11] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:19:11] Speaker B: Why did they just end it? Because we all know Kanan live, but. And then we knew. Juke lived to a certain point.
[00:19:17] Speaker C: Breeze lived to a certain point.
[00:19:19] Speaker B: You know, Breeze lived at a certain point. We know who killed him. So it's like they had to kill. It had to kill all that off, man. And it died off because they don't want the ghost thing go. Still alive. You know, they're coming back.
[00:19:29] Speaker C: They still on that.
[00:19:29] Speaker B: Cut it off.
[00:19:30] Speaker C: Yeah, it's still on that, Ghost, because
[00:19:31] Speaker B: they never really cut it off.
[00:19:33] Speaker C: You never see the body.
[00:19:34] Speaker B: You never cut it off. They never really cut it off, or
[00:19:37] Speaker C: you never see the body?
[00:19:38] Speaker B: Yeah. You never cut it off.
They didn't leave. They didn't close it.
[00:19:42] Speaker C: Nope.
[00:19:42] Speaker B: They just left it open, so. Good show, man.
[00:19:45] Speaker A: Time is still out there, too, though. Yeah.
[00:19:47] Speaker C: Well, they're supposed to have him and.
[00:19:49] Speaker B: Him and Tyreek gonna be together.
[00:19:50] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:19:51] Speaker B: Which is gonna be kind of crazy.
[00:19:52] Speaker C: Power legacy.
[00:19:54] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:19:55] Speaker C: Which I think is better. I don't think Tommy was a. The actor that plays Tommy. I don't think he's good by himself.
[00:20:02] Speaker B: They have a problem with the 4 show, man. I liked it.
[00:20:06] Speaker C: I think. I think they're going to bring back a lot of the cast from Power, and I. And I think from the Flash, and I think this is where you kind of see if they can figure it out or you start to see Ghost kind of start to show up a little bit. Like, I think you see glimpses here and there.
[00:20:21] Speaker A: Hello. Okay. Little signs.
[00:20:23] Speaker C: Little signs of him, you know, coming back and whatever.
[00:20:26] Speaker A: Look at you. Yeah.
[00:20:27] Speaker C: But good show. I like the way they tie the shows into each other, so you never know.
So they always leave the door open for something else.
[00:20:34] Speaker A: Right.
[00:20:36] Speaker C: 50 got him a hit on this.
[00:20:37] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:20:38] Speaker C: He just.
When you got a good flagship show and the way he's been able. The way his team has been able to maneuver all the other shows around that one show and being like, okay, this didn't work. This didn't work. Oh, shoot, we got a hit with this. Okay, now let's spin this. Now let's take this. It's almost like a story out of Marvel.
[00:20:55] Speaker A: Right?
[00:20:56] Speaker C: You know what I'm saying? You got all these different characters that you could just focus on. Okay, we're gonna focus on this character. We gonna focus on this one shoot. Because think about the Tommy Ghost story. Shoot. You got.
What's the dude that they saved from the 718 gang?
[00:21:11] Speaker B: Ruiz.
[00:21:11] Speaker C: Not Ruiz.
[00:21:14] Speaker A: 71 8.
[00:21:16] Speaker C: That's the one. And when he died in the flagship, they cut. They cut the 718 off his neck. Oh, and he went out like a G. Now they had to slice his Achilles and all kinds. They had him in because what's his name set him up.
What's the black kid that ran with Kanan and then ended up working.
[00:21:35] Speaker B: Come on, Dre.
[00:21:36] Speaker C: Dre. Dre has set him up to get killed. And he was like, since Ghost don't deal with the business no more.
You know, you fair game now. So there's that story that they could spin with bringing him into Power Origins, and so there's just a lot of stuff, man. I just like the fact that they tie all the shows in.
[00:21:54] Speaker B: That's all.
You had to wait to see what going on.
[00:21:57] Speaker A: Y' all started watching. Y' all started watching fighting.
[00:22:00] Speaker C: I did what? Listen.
[00:22:02] Speaker B: Yeah, I watched it. I watched the second one.
[00:22:04] Speaker C: I didn't watch the second episode yet.
[00:22:05] Speaker A: I watched the first episode off of your.
[00:22:07] Speaker B: I watched the second one yesterday.
[00:22:08] Speaker C: Stucky. Off of your.
Like, hey, go watch it, boy. That first episode was on.
[00:22:14] Speaker B: It was on.
[00:22:14] Speaker C: I ain't gonna lie. The first episode.
[00:22:16] Speaker B: Yeah, it was on.
[00:22:17] Speaker C: I don't know what the follow up gonna be. How was the follow up?
[00:22:19] Speaker B: I ain't gonna spoil you watch it.
[00:22:21] Speaker C: No, I'm just.
[00:22:22] Speaker B: The second show. The second show.
It don't hit quite as hard. It can't hit quite as hard at first, but they do, like, carry, you know, I like it. So the second. It still got some. It still got a storyline. Still got. Keep you involved. What? Kept me involved with what was going on.
[00:22:38] Speaker C: And now I'm like a building episode.
[00:22:40] Speaker B: Yeah, it comes. You know, it comes.
[00:22:43] Speaker C: Yeah, I'm watching.
[00:22:44] Speaker B: And it's leading up to.
[00:22:45] Speaker C: Okay, don't watch it tonight.
[00:22:47] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So Fight land. All right. You know, I'm gonna see it through, but it's a good show so far.
[00:22:53] Speaker A: I just say I. I'll just watch the first episode. I watched second episode. Yeah, but this. It took off real fast. I thought it took off faster than what it should have had, you know?
[00:23:03] Speaker B: Man.
Bro. But you gotta think about it, though. What show that 50 got in this whole thing here. That didn't take off fast.
[00:23:11] Speaker A: Well, that took over.
That first episode was jam packed.
[00:23:17] Speaker B: Yeah, they had to run it. I guess they had to fit in a lot into a lot into the. You know, to bring it to where it was at. See the dude.
[00:23:25] Speaker A: Yeah. See the dude winning the heavyweight championship of the world and then go right to jail. They go right to prison. They get out of prison. They go right into the game. Like, damn, man. Kind of let shit kind of build
[00:23:36] Speaker C: up a little bit of the dude in prison. Is the one who. They recruited him for that game.
[00:23:41] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:23:41] Speaker C: Coming up to take old boy, old buddy down.
[00:23:44] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:23:44] Speaker C: Take that business.
[00:23:45] Speaker A: So it was that just. Well, that took off.
That took off.
[00:23:50] Speaker B: First I was trying to feel like, who's the black woman? I thought it was his girlfriend, but it was the dude White. Once I found that off, I was like, okay, okay. Yeah, see? All right, now we got something going on.
[00:24:00] Speaker C: Now we got action.
[00:24:00] Speaker B: Now we got action. And then the kids know, like, you ain't. We know you this. So, yeah. It's like, all right, all right, all
[00:24:07] Speaker C: right, all right, all right.
[00:24:08] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. So it took off, man.
It took off. It took off.
[00:24:14] Speaker C: Did y' all watch that? It took off that Kevin Hart joint.
[00:24:18] Speaker A: 72 hours.
[00:24:19] Speaker B: 72 hours started, man. And I was watching it, and then I kind of, like, got out off of it.
[00:24:26] Speaker A: That was funny to me, man.
Yeah.
[00:24:29] Speaker B: I might have to go back and re. Watch it because I kind of, like, got sidetracked on it.
[00:24:32] Speaker C: I guess the thing that made it funny for me is I could relate to his character. Being in your 40s.
[00:24:38] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:24:38] Speaker C: You kind of losing a little touch with the relevant stuff in the moment. You're trying to stay in that. In that realm, so.
[00:24:46] Speaker A: Right.
[00:24:47] Speaker C: You know, for your job, you got to go in.
[00:24:51] Speaker A: It was funny. It had a little bit cheesy parts, and it has some. It's a good comedy.
[00:24:55] Speaker B: I have to go back and check it out, and I ain't. I got kind of sidetracked.
[00:24:58] Speaker C: Him and the Cat Williams fight was easy.
[00:25:00] Speaker A: That was. Yeah, that was cheesy.
[00:25:01] Speaker C: But when he was. When he told to that coke in that damn back room.
[00:25:08] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:25:09] Speaker C: To the horses. To the horses.
[00:25:11] Speaker A: Yeah.
They could have left that Kevin Cat Williams and Kevin Hart part out.
That was good. Okay.
[00:25:19] Speaker C: Anyway.
[00:25:19] Speaker A: But. Yeah, man, but that's what we watching. I mean, I hate to see Kane in the end like that, you know, I kind of want a rock to get out of town, you know?
You know, I was rooting for Rock to get out, man, but fuck it
[00:25:37] Speaker B: a day too long, man.
[00:25:38] Speaker A: Yeah,
[00:25:41] Speaker B: man.
[00:25:41] Speaker A: Oh, Cabo try to get some for Rock.
[00:25:44] Speaker B: Well, he thought he would get some pussy.
[00:25:45] Speaker A: Get some, right?
[00:25:49] Speaker C: What? On what planet did you really think that you was going to.
[00:25:54] Speaker B: Because he thought. He thought, he thought. Just like he was saying the whole time, Stefano was always like, one up in him, and he figured, hey, you know, she ain't got nowhere else to go.
She give me some pussy, I protect her.
[00:26:09] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:26:10] Speaker B: You know, the whole. The whole you do something for me. Oh, Nate. I'm in a bind, Nate, you know.
[00:26:14] Speaker A: Huh?
[00:26:15] Speaker B: And you know, he took three to the chest. So how was that?
[00:26:23] Speaker C: But I just don't. If she turns you down like that.
[00:26:28] Speaker B: She had a west go to end.
[00:26:29] Speaker A: No, no, no.
[00:26:29] Speaker C: She turned you down. Like earlier in the episode. She turned him down. Turned him down and then double back and come back to you.
Like, I guess it's the downfall of man.
[00:26:41] Speaker B: Yeah, he wanted. He wanted. He wanted to be up. He wanted to be one up on Stephanie. Yeah, he just wanted to be like, I got her. You couldn't. Cause he knew Stephanie wanted the fucker too.
[00:26:49] Speaker A: Well, he even told Stephan all that.
[00:26:50] Speaker B: He.
[00:26:51] Speaker A: Stephan, like, get the out of here.
[00:26:53] Speaker B: You ain't.
[00:26:53] Speaker C: You ain't.
[00:26:54] Speaker A: You right.
[00:26:54] Speaker C: You right.
[00:26:55] Speaker B: You right.
Yeah. So. So that just tell you right there, like. Like how these other races look at black women. I mean, you know, like these other races of people, you know how they admire black women, man, this is what it is, bro.
[00:27:17] Speaker A: That deep with it.
But I ain't took it that deep from a show. I didn't take it that deep, but you know, but yeah, that's me. That's all. We all know that black women all been sexualized throughout history, bro.
[00:27:36] Speaker B: But she. They just. They know she would. She was dealing with a cold. Cold. A cold window when it would put a hole in your ass in mind blasting your ass. So, yeah, there you go.
[00:27:45] Speaker A: Yeah.
Yeah. But. But man, guess I'm going to a few episodes. Speaking of damn, you know, people getting killed and all this other.
Now Martha Reeves and her girls killed. The national antibody was pissed off.
Did you see the Damn.
[00:28:09] Speaker B: I don't know who hired him, bro.
[00:28:11] Speaker A: Somebody.
Somebody had a back seize of. I guess they rehearsed. Walter Reeves was like. Was going off. Like, why. Why are you singing in the same note? The whole type of going off and going.
[00:28:22] Speaker B: That was horrible, bro. Damn.
[00:28:24] Speaker A: But she came back and tried to redeem herself and still was off.
[00:28:28] Speaker B: That was horrible, man.
[00:28:29] Speaker A: Yeah. It got to be one of the worst national anthem performances. One of the worst in history, bro.
[00:28:35] Speaker B: Top five worst.
[00:28:37] Speaker A: Carl Lewis.
[00:28:38] Speaker B: Carl was terrible.
Who else did a terrible job?
[00:28:42] Speaker A: Fergie.
[00:28:44] Speaker B: Terrible.
[00:28:44] Speaker A: Yeah.
Damn.
[00:28:46] Speaker B: If somebody else did a.
[00:28:48] Speaker A: Did a.
[00:28:49] Speaker B: You know, did a hack job on it down there. Yeah, yeah, that was horrible, bro.
Somebody did. At a baseball game. Somebody did at a baseball game. They hacked that shit up a little while ago. Like,
[00:29:05] Speaker C: I searched the top worst national performances. Oh, you forgot Roseanne, Rosie. Roseanne.
[00:29:13] Speaker B: Yeah. Hack. Hack job Roseanne. Yeah, Roseanne.
[00:29:16] Speaker A: Roseanne got her there,
[00:29:20] Speaker B: but she hacked that up.
[00:29:21] Speaker C: Roseanne Barr.
[00:29:22] Speaker A: That's it.
[00:29:23] Speaker C: Carl Lewis, Martha Reeves, Fergie Ingrid Andreas, her performance at the MLB Home Run Derby.
[00:29:35] Speaker B: Hack jobs, bro.
[00:29:36] Speaker C: Yeah. Kat DeLuna, her performance at the Dallas Cowboys game, man.
Yeah.
[00:29:43] Speaker B: Hack jobs, bro. Yeah, yeah, she. She's.
Or she won't get. She won't sing at a birthday party. Now you won't get her out of saying a bam. Happy Birthday. No. Damn. Badass.
[00:29:56] Speaker A: Yeah. Damn. It was that bad?
[00:29:57] Speaker C: Somebody posted after Martha Reeves sang terrible. Hers was worse than Roseanne Barr.
[00:30:02] Speaker B: Yeah, it was bad, bro.
[00:30:04] Speaker A: I was like, yo, who?
[00:30:06] Speaker B: Wow.
[00:30:07] Speaker A: Cause nobody could down.
I don't nobody come down. Never top down what Marva Gaye's and then Whitney Houston. Shit.
[00:30:15] Speaker B: Yeah. That'll forever be goaded.
[00:30:17] Speaker A: Yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Them that shampoo and R. Kelly did one before I came.
[00:30:24] Speaker C: I believe so.
[00:30:25] Speaker B: I don't. Don't quote me on that, but I think he did.
[00:30:28] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:30:30] Speaker B: But yeah.
[00:30:31] Speaker A: You.
[00:30:31] Speaker B: You.
[00:30:33] Speaker C: They said Whitney Houston.
[00:30:34] Speaker B: Time to sit it down, grandma.
[00:30:35] Speaker C: Marvin Gaye, Chris Stapleton, Jimi Hendrix.
[00:30:38] Speaker A: Yeah. Chris Davidson was fired.
[00:30:40] Speaker B: Time to sit it down, grandma.
[00:30:41] Speaker C: Lady Gaga, Jose Felician. Oh, yeah. Mariah Carey. Is it Mariah Carey's on one of the tops.
[00:30:48] Speaker A: Shit.
I don't remember her now.
[00:30:51] Speaker C: She was Super Bowl 36. Oh, 2002.
[00:30:58] Speaker A: Damn word, man.
And then we got down. Wayne. Wayne out here. Try to fly the team. Team mom star Rachel Beaver.
[00:31:12] Speaker B: Don't pay to be that horny.
[00:31:16] Speaker A: I thought Wade was about to get married to a shorty, though. From the shorty for Indiana, though.
[00:31:21] Speaker B: Who's. Who's still giving way some ass, bro.
[00:31:25] Speaker C: Got the money.
[00:31:25] Speaker A: Yo, Wayne be getting ass for a while now, though, bro.
[00:31:29] Speaker B: Wayne trying to. Was she. Was she a teen when he was trying to fly out?
Is that what they saying here?
[00:31:34] Speaker A: No, I don't know.
[00:31:36] Speaker B: You know, what's the age. She was a teen mom on the show and then she grew up.
[00:31:39] Speaker A: Up.
[00:31:40] Speaker B: I can't hold Wayne that now she's still a team mom. And Wayne, you and what you sound like. Like what? What's the story here? Was she young or was she just that who she was?
[00:31:51] Speaker C: Team mom star Rachel Beaver.
[00:31:56] Speaker B: So what's going on currently?
[00:31:58] Speaker C: No, she's 23.
[00:31:59] Speaker A: She's 23 years old.
[00:32:00] Speaker B: All right.
[00:32:01] Speaker C: Wayne, who was 23, sliding into Wayne. She's. Apparently it actually started. She slid into Wayne's DM's writing. Fly me out. I won't say anything like the last one,
[00:32:14] Speaker B: man.
[00:32:14] Speaker C: Boy. They got the screenshots of the dm.
[00:32:19] Speaker B: Well, you know.
[00:32:21] Speaker A: Well, they were supposed to meet up at the Christmas or whatever. She was trying to line up a babysitter for her children. On January 3rd.
[00:32:27] Speaker B: Babysitter.
[00:32:28] Speaker A: Around 5am it appeared Wayne reignited their conversation with a simple message. I want you to.
[00:32:34] Speaker B: Yeah, Wayne.
[00:32:35] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:32:36] Speaker C: Horny for weeks.
[00:32:39] Speaker B: Horny.
There's no Story here.
There's no story here, man. There ain't no story here. Was he dealing with somebody young?
[00:32:48] Speaker C: Okay, yeah, well, young, but she wasn't teenage. She wasn't.
[00:32:51] Speaker B: There's no story here. Yeah, there's no story here. And you want to call in the age police, then fine.
[00:32:57] Speaker A: But what the story is. Wayne down.
[00:33:01] Speaker B: Wayne.
[00:33:01] Speaker A: Damn.
Damn.
Wayne's trading at the chocolate milk for the white milk here lately.
Skateboarding Wayne with the Mega Holes, man.
[00:33:19] Speaker B: Wayne said he don't see. He don't see color, he don't see. He don't see racism. He don't see none of that.
[00:33:25] Speaker A: So he went from his daughter mama name, what's her name region. They don't mama.
Yeah. And he was around with. What's the guy? The girl. The girl named Superhead. And so Wayne kind of down like he.
He damn change the parties a little bit, but he going to another team.

[00:33:51] Speaker A: Who?
[00:33:52] Speaker C: Lil Wayne, baby mama.
[00:33:54] Speaker A: Nah, that's not her name.
[00:33:55] Speaker C: Nivea is one of Lil Wayne's raging a mama.
[00:33:58] Speaker A: What's raging a mama name.

[00:34:09] Speaker C: Toya the way has four children.
[00:34:15] Speaker B: Wayne think he white sometimes anyway. So.
[00:34:17] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:34:18] Speaker C: Toya, Sarah, Vivian, Lauren, London.
[00:34:24] Speaker B: Yeah, man, Wayne. Wayne different man. Wayne don't stand up for, you know, he don't stand in. He don't. He don't make no comments on anything he got to do with any black people. So, you know, of course he. He just, you know, the whole black lives matter. Like what is that? I don't know what that is. Okay. You know, I don't see that. You know. Okay. Wayne, you know.
[00:34:45] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:34:45] Speaker B: So I don't even hold Wayne to that kind of.
That kind of thing. Wayne doing what Wayne do, man?
He's a weirdo. He's been a weird. He's looking rap weirdo. You know what I'm saying? He's a weirdo.
[00:35:01] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:35:02] Speaker B: And I'm not surprised. He's a weirdo. He was doing this. He was doing this since he was 11. So he's a weirdo now.
[00:35:08] Speaker A: My was there about them funny Wayne. Wayne was in that interview. Say he damn ain't new now.

[00:35:23] Speaker B: He said he didn't know.
[00:35:23] Speaker A: Yeah. That had a T shirt.
[00:35:26] Speaker B: Free dirt.
[00:35:27] Speaker A: What was that?
[00:35:28] Speaker B: I don't. You gotta show me that, man. You got to see me that way.
You know Wayne differently just eating it when he come in. Yeah, Wayne living his own little bubble and that's it. Outside of that, he could kill this.

[00:35:45] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, he in a bubble now. Yeah, he's in a bubble. He's on the bubble.
[00:35:50] Speaker A: And we got academics, man. Academics. Real lord. He once bought his girlfriend everything money could buy. And she cheated on him with a guy who did have a car.
[00:36:00] Speaker B: Simping ass.
[00:36:02] Speaker A: How many damn times academics gonna put himself out here like this, bro, bro,
